| I only update this everytime someone yells at me for not updating (Julie). But most people who read this, see me on a daily basis. It will be much more important to update when I move away and actually have interesting things going on in my life. So look again in August. :) | | |
| The part that sucks most about growing up is that I can't get my mom to do everything for me anymore. Now she tells me I have to make the phone call to the lender about getting a summer loan. I thought thats what moms were for. And now that mom won't do this stuff, I need a personal assistant. My car is about 9,000 miles over when it was supposed to have its last oil change. I eat popcorn for dinner because I have no time to go to the grocery store. My plants are dying cause I forget to water them. I could go on, but I won't. If you know of a personal assistant who will work for free, please send them my way. | | |
| Oh so close...so close...my mom cried when she got my graduation invitations in the mail....just wait until the actual ceremony. I cried on Saturday cause I got my job, it was a relief....a huuuuuuuuge relief. Mom thought someone died, but no, tears of joy.
If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would you go?
| Today is Saturday...where am I? At school. Where was I last night? At school. If I'm lucky, I might rent a movie tonight to make up for non-stop paper-writing. When I complained to my dad, he basically told me to suck it up, only in more words. He said that I'm almost done so I should stop complaining. I'm not almost done. Just because classes end in 2 weeks, doesn't solve my paper problem...it doesn't solve the fact that I have not read for either of my classes that have finals. It does not solve the problem that I still have to volunteer at the PDs office. It does not solve the problem that the minute I graduate I start Bar classes, and that I will probably have to start work right after the Bar (assuming I find work!). "Suck it up" my ass. | | |
| Hey, once every 4 months ain't bad. Recently I had a certain Guppy complain about my lack of updates, and then i realized thet my sister double-linked this page to her blog, so I figured I better step up and update.
But don't get used to it. I have about 1 month of school left, and 3 papers (only two of which I've started) and finals and work and job hunts and interviews and tons of crap to do before then.
The bright spot in my recent days was, of course, the Carolina win. It was my birthday...it was fate...just like I told Chris. You will see below that I called it January 15. Doesn't mean I wasn't ocassionally a little nervous...but sometimes you just know. So if you have anything you need to predict, let me know, I'll see what I can do. Sadly, there is a complete lack of good sports for months, but at least i will get some work done.
I need a nap in the sun. If anyone would like to work on my paper for a couple of hours to allow me to do this, please let me know ASAP.
